(More customer reviews)I have taught English to international health and medical professionals for the past five years and would say that this is a 'must have' book for any non-native speaker of English in the Medical profession. The book is an easy to use reference book, with very practical information. There are many sample letters, sample conversations with patients, formats for oral presentations, formats for writing a medical journal article and more. I'm using it now with a Japanese researcher here in the US as she prepares to present her research at a conference. This book is giving her the confidence to challenge the task of presenting in front of native speakers. She will also use this book when she returns to her country in order to maintain contacts and connections she has made here in the US.
