As clinical application of Bioceramics has increased in surgical procedures over the past 3 decades, this hefty book attempts to put together the available research for the various applications of this material in different fields of medicine. The book is highly specialized and directed to those scientists already in research on the topic. It is not an introduction nor is it pedagogically directed to the novice. But it is a comprehensive review of all the available research. It needs more diagrams to make it more user friendly. It's also very expensive for what it is.
