I bought this book with lots of expectation after seeing the title which gives us an expectation that it will contain lots of worked out problems. As any biochemistry/molecular biology student would admit, analyzing and interpreting experimental data is the most difficult task and it has to be learned through solving problems based on such techniques. Any body who search for a lab technique based book needs lot of review questions and problems and detailed solution of every problem. It is by studying these solutions, one learns the basic aspects and skill to approach a problem. This book interestingly has plenty of such questions but the review questions and additional sets of questions at the end of the chapters donot have answers.so you are totally at dark as to whom to approach for the answer. Dear author, please keep in mind a student's perspective while writing a book. He/she can get therotical information from plethora of source but what he/she needs is illustrations and problems on the theory with complete solutions. Only then he/she will learn how to apply theory in problems. Either you come out with a solution manual or atleast in the next edition (i don't think that it can have a second because of the disappointment of students due to the above said reason) take care of this aspect with utmost priority. Hence this book is like a gun without bullets.... Useless!!!!!!!
